Yeah I liked Arnott. I like Joe Thornton. It just almost seems like it would be a negative above a certain height at the center position.

Good point. But how do you do faceoffs at 6'6". Seems crazy.

TheScore, ranked det as the biggest loser of the first round, saying Kenny holland obviously isn't used picking players early in the draft. I'm finding more bad reviews than good that's for sure. Leafs took our player at 17

My knowledge of hockey prospects is admittedly limited but it looks like we drafted almost everyone a round or two early? I mean if the think they have the next datsyuk then you don't wait but isn't the whole point to maximiz value? You know, wait a round if you can?

I'm glad you guys took him, I desperately didn't want him in LA and he was being too frequently mocked to us for comfort, doubt the Kings would've passed on that frame.
